To make its H8000FW multichannel Ultra-Harmonizer processor even more compatible with more things, Eventide has announced the H8000FW version 5.5 software upgrade.
Available as a free download for registered H8000FW users, the version 5.5 upgrade adds Windows 7 and Snow Leopard compatibility, plus several system enhancements and all of the TimeFactor and ModFactor effects and presets to the processor’s current host of 1,800 programs.
New updated H8000FW signal routing programs for Macs and PCs are also available on the Eventide Web site as free downloads for registered users.
Said to be the most powerful Eventide processor ever, the H8000FW Ultra-Harmonizer includes a number of leading Eventide programs, including 5.1 reverb and effects up to 96 kHz. The H8000FW can process up to eight channels of 24-bit, 96 kHz with one cable via FireWire, and it also features AES / EBU, ADAT, and S/PDIF digital I/O as well four channels of analog I/O.
