The hardware E27 EQ manufactured by Avedis Audio Electronics is well known in high-end studios because of its 3-band lay-out with 9 selectable frequencies per band and ±16 dB of boost and cut using continuous variable potentiometers.
The PSP E27 is modeled after this famous analog equalizer and because of its great precision it is suitable for both mixing and mastering. It also offers an additional preamp stage for global level control and completely models the nonlinear behavior of the analog device.
PSP E27 SE (included in the bundle) is a simplified version of PSP E27. The PSP E27se is based on the same great audio engine, but it has a redesigned, simpler GUI making quick adjustments a snap. The PSP E27se is equipped with one E27 and one PA11 module. It’s perfect for both mono tracks and stereo stereo in which you don’t need seperate settings for the Left and Right channels.
