New from Best Service, the Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices sound collection offers a whole lot of world instrument and “ethnic” vocal samples.
Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices includes more than 240 professionally recorded world instruments and more than 18,000 samples in the following categories: bowed instruments, stringed instruments, woodwind and brass, key instruments, bell type instruments, metal instruments, world drums, world percussion, gongs and bowls, and voices and choirs.
The comprehensive sample library is so big because not only does it contain the aforementioned samples, it contains the entire library “Ethno World 4 Professional” plus an additional 10 GB with about 5,500 new samples. All of this wraps up to be about 20 GB of samples and more than 80 patches. Best Service isn’t kidding when it says that Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices is now one of the largest ethnic sample libraries worldwide.
In addition, the collection includes 25 professionally recorded solo-voices from all over the world and an ethnic chamber choir with over 3,800 new samples and phrases. Powered by Native Instruments Kontakt Player, Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices is available for Windows and Mac OS X. It can be loaded in the full version of Kontakt 4, be played standalone, or be used in VST, Audio Units, and RTAS instrument plugin formats.
Best Service expects to release Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices in September of 2010 for 449 EUR (approximately $571). Pre-orders for the sample library will be taken until its release date, at the discounted price of 389 EUR (approximately $495). Upgrades from Ethno World 3 or Ethno World 4 are 149 EUR ($190).
