Microhammer releases The Ranch

If you spent your childhood summers on a ranch in the Pacific Northwest knowing only the sounds of the outdoors and all that comes with it, playing with the new Microhammer Kontakt instrument, The Ranch, might be like coming home.

The Ranch is an eclectic collection of exotic sounds taken from a real ranch in the Pacific Northwest, featuring the field-recorded samples of a variety of sound sources that were manipulated and played like musical instruments. Some of these sound sources include a tuned plow, scrapyards, tuned bells, storms, wind chimes, percussive sprinklers, crickets and birds, a percussive foozball table, footsteps in the grass, the sound of gravel and dirt, golf carts and haybalers, and many other instruments commonly found on a ranch or farm.

Custom control knobs, hand-made convolution impulses, and experimental FX presets are included as well, to further help you plow into an endless field of musical bounty, as Microhammer puts it. With The Ranch, you will get 31 instrument patches, 975 samples, and 45 bonus impulses, all presented in 24-bit, 44.1 kHz audio quality.
