SonicProjects releases OP-X PRO-II software synth

OP-X PRO-II is the new top flagship of the OP series offering a lot of extensions and new features over OP-X PRO based on collected customer requests and own new ideas.

The showcase features include doubled polyphony with extended SVD engine, built in effects, a built in patch browser, a completely new arpeggiator offering 32 modes, chord hold, MIDI learn, extended LFO features and 32 different bend modes.

Furthermore the synth offers some unique features dedicated to live musicians including switchable relative or fetched MIDI CC response that eliminates the well known parameter jumps, switchable dual engine effects processing for effects finishing after preset change, an intelligent patch change smoother as well as arpeggio hold and sequencer start/stop over damper pedal for hands free operation. The extended LFO features include new waveforms like sampled vibrato, switchable LFO delay and key triggering. For even more detailed and comfortable parameter control there are several active GUI zones that allow for seamless tuning and level control as well as one-click calibration for knobs and trimpots.

The synth ships with a built in library of more than 1’500 phantastic patches including many original 80ies hits patches and famous synth emulating banks including Jupiter-8, Prophet-5, Matrix-12, OB-X, Polymoog, Minimoog and Synthex.
